A sure sign that a raptor is in your midst is the instant scattering of other birds. Seen mostly flying solo, birds of prey are beautiful, fascinating and possess a mysterious air about them.

Did you know the Osprey is in a classification all it's own. It is the only raptor  that will dive into water.
Feeding entirely on fish, the spiky pads on the feet of an Osprey help him keep a good hold on his prey,
which he carries head-first in flight.
